Owen and Elliot

I signed Owen up for a preschool that has a 2 year old class. Actually, he was on the waiting list for only a few days before getting in. The class has 8 children and 2 teachers. It is twice a week for 1 1/2 hours. Owen being in preschool has made a big difference in the way he has acted at home. He is entertaining himself again and seems happier in general. Or maybe I am getting more sleep and everything feels better.
 Matching Christmas outfits
We tried to take a family picture. It was a flop!
I love this little boy! As somebody at church put it, Elliot is very inquisitive. He is constantly looking around and looking at everything.
Trying on dad's work helmet (Cameron works in a factory but he is not a laborer; it is a requirement for all employees, if they ever even walk across the factory floor, to wear protective gear)
Elliot is 5 months old and is already 17 lbs. He LOVES TO EAT. The poor baby has had 3 ear infections in the past 6 weeks. Everytime Owen gets the slightest little cold, Elliot gets an ear infection. He is very squirmy!! When he sits on my lap he rocks back and forth. I can just tell that he wants to get down on the ground and crawl and play with his brother. His favorite position is on his tummy. He is still waking up 3 times a night to eat. I think this is because he has had ear infections and he just can't get in a good routine. Cameron got up for 4 nights in a row this past week to give him a formula bottle. I can't tell you how amazing those following days were. I have actually been getting stuff done. I never thought I would give my baby formula before the 11 month mark (because I didn't with Owen). But in this scenario I just felt the need to give myself a break, and my supportive husband was more than willing to comply (but not without a few grumbles when I would nudge him at 3 in the morning).
Elliot is wearing Owen's old 12M size pajamas that Owen wore when he was 1. The funny thing is is that the season matches up perfectly.
And last... my baby (Owen pictured here) is about to turn THREE!!!Wow! What a ride it has been!

Honestly, your boys are so cute. I can imagine what a challenge (mostly fun challenge) at times Owen is. That's exactly how I feel about Braden. I am so glad you found a place for him to flourish and give you a much needed break.

They are both so cute and growing so much. Don't feel bad about an occasional bottle of formula. It won't hurt him and you can take a break every now and then. I used to leave formula for the babysitter, because I never took the time to pump.

Thanks for sharing those two ingredient recipes. I'm going to try them. I love simple stuff!
